During January, we were proud to deliver two dedicated training weekends for our Army and Navy sections, providing cadets with valuable opportunities to develop their skills and confidence.
Across the two weekends, cadets took part in:
- Junior Cadet Instructor Cadre (JCIC)
- First Aid at Work
- Junior Leadership Training
- Senior Leadership Training
These courses are designed to challenge and inspire cadets at every stage of their journey. From gaining nationally recognised first aid qualifications to developing leadership, instructional techniques, and teamwork skills, every participant left with new knowledge and greater confidence.
The commitment, professionalism, and enthusiasm shown throughout the weekends were outstanding. The skills gained will not only support progression within the cadet organisation but will also benefit cadets in school, future employment, and everyday life.
If you’re considering joining the cadets, weekends like these are just one example of the exciting training opportunities available. Whether you’re looking to build confidence, learn practical skills, or develop as a leader, there is something for everyone.
Finally, a sincere thank you to our dedicated staff and instructors who gave up their time to plan, deliver, and support the training. Their commitment ensures our cadets continue to receive high-quality opportunities and experiences throughout the year.
